Carole Stodder and Tom Brand return this year with a joint exhibition of their work in the Barn at Tryon Farm. Award-winning artists, they have both been painting and exhibiting in Northwest Indiana for over 12 years after settling here from Chicago. Stodder paints with acrylic on canvas while Brand works on oil on panel. Both are known for their original abstract compositions though their art differs in its individual approach and style. Their common denominator is an emphasis on form, color and craftsmanship to create energetic works, sometimes challenging but always exciting to look at and experience.
